The starts were pretty cool.
Prelude to mayhem - Yamaha's Mullins (right) and Hawk are about to turn left, but when they do, they hit a tough uphill and people start to get stuck...Moments later, a traffic jam stops nearly the entire pro class.
Doh! No Pasaran!
This is the track guy that watched the first lap pileup when he was radioing in "third place is stuck, and 4th....and 5th, oh, there goes 6th and 7th....and...." After that, he closed off the hill and changed the track to go around it.
The event was tough on bikes, lots of DNFs.
