Daytona is looking better all the time.
After two SX practices Friday afternoon at Daytona, Reed has the fastest time in both, which prompted one of the team folks from his competition to say "It's going to be a battle."
The Dirt Wurx Daytona track is a bit old school in terms of roughness and how loose the ground is - and some said it was a bit one-lined. It was dry in the earlier practices, which let it get loose and deep. If this were an afternoon race, it would get gnarly. It's possible they may smooth it out with some track work - unconfirmed.

Reed posted the fastest lap times in both SX practices. In the first, he fell hard and bruised his forehead a little, when his helmet pressed hard against his forehead when he fell. He was smiling about it and ven joked a little after practice 2.
RC and Stewart are strong and making adjustments for the night show.
In Lites, Dungey was the fastest for both practices. Also fast - Goerke, Lange, Townley, Morias and the Alessis.
What's going to happen tonight with all the top three SX guys wanting to win... They are going to be on the edge and push each other to make mistakes, so the winner will be the one whose mistakes mattered the least. It's going to be a good one.
