The Rockstar Energy Drink US Open kicks off today with an all new format and up to $250K on the line! Lites and 450s are mixed together for the first time.
What's new at the US Open:
-Stewart is back, not 100%, but he's back, and using #1 this weekend and next year!
-The new Miss Supercross Sara Lipert starts this weekend!
-This is the 10th US Open.
-This is the weekend a lot of guys race new bikes and gear for 2008. Most prominent is Mike Alessi on a Makita Suzuki, with his new mechanic, Mike Gosselaar. Vuillemin is here and not racing yet.
-Tyler Bowers is in, racing for YOT.
-Dan Reardon is in, racing for Sobe/NoFear/Samsung (Factory Connection).
-Kyle Lewis is out too.
-KTM/MDK are here with Laninovich and Brayton.
-Reed is back, and Langston is in.
-Jeff Alessi is racing a privateer Honda with Alessi Racing on the shroud.
-The track gets changed each night and looks good for photos.
